The Coolest Concrete House You've Ever Seen

Posted on October 18 2016

While comfort seems to be the recent trend in fashion and design, architect Felipe Escudero created a concrete house that would appeal to even the staunchest comfort fanatics. Located in Ecuador, the El Quinche house was constructed entirely by hand, giving the concrete a variety of beautiful textures. Along with its attractive facade, the windows and doors are very large, making the house look smaller than it really is while offering incredible views of the Ecuadorian landscape from within. Another cool feature? The location of the house allows the sun to heat the concrete, keeping the house warm well into the night. Take a look at more images below and click here for more info.
