Kelis Shows Off Los Angeles Pad

Posted on January 31 2017

Says Apartamento, "there are few people who can get by with only a first name—Elvis, Madonna and Cher—but Milkshake singer Kelis has pulled it off with sass and style since bursting onto the global music scene in the late 1990s. Born Kelis Rogers in Harlem, New York, the star won the world over with her Neptunes-produced debut album Kaleidoscope, which featured the anthemic track Caught Out There, popular for its generation-defining chorus 'I hate you so much right now.' Here, the star invites director Barbara Anastacio into her Los Angeles home, which features a psychedelic closet brimming with past costumes, a homemade brass band chandelier, and a whole lot of dramatic creatures (and creature comforts)."
