This is very cool. We're big fans of Instagram and have been around for a while so we're familiar with the old Windows 95 operating system. Seeing these two miracles of technology come together in this very believable GIF series is incredibly satisfying. Graphic designer Misha Petrick fuses the Instagram layout we all know and love with the 8-bit graphics, pixelated MS sans serif font, and familiar teal blue background that made Windows 95 an internet pioneer.
