With so much incredible art out there, it's hard to imagine that people continue to come up with new ways to create something that hasn't been done before. Take these crystallized books for example, by San Francisco-based artist Alexis Arnold. Using borax crystals, Arnold selects literature centered around technology and wonders of our natural earth to construct her masterpieces. Her message? As technology continues to advance and take over much of our lives, books are quickly being forgotten and discarded in favor of electronics.
